هي الترجمة الكاملة الأولى للعمل الشهير في تراث الشاعر الهندي الأشهر \"رابندرانات طاغور\" التي هي في الأصل مجموعة من الأمثال والحكم والأقوال التي سجلها طاغور أثناء زيارته للصين واليابان، ثم قام بنشرها بالإنجليزية عام 1928. اليراعات هي مجموعة من الشذرات الشعرية على غرار قصيدة الهايكو اليابانية. يعرض فيها طاغور لمحات من الأفكار العميقة الدلالة والشديدة الفنية فيما لا يتعد سطرين أو بضعة أسطر. والعمل الذي بين أيدينا هو الترجمة الأولى التي تنشر كاملة.
