درج الطابونة\" (وهي عبارة عن مجموعة من القصص القصيرة جدا)، تميز الكاتب المقدسي سمير الجندي بكتابة هذا النوع من القصة القصيرة جدا، إذ لا يتجاوز عدد كلمات بعض قصصه عن عدد أصابع اليدين، بلغة مكثفة عميقة، تعبر عن مقدرة، وإبداع، وتمكن هذا الكاتب، وتبين ثقافته الواسعة، فهي نصوص كاريكاتورية بمعنى الكلمة، فيها العمق، وفيها أحيانا السخرية الأدبية التي تتناول كثيرا (وتنقسم محتوياتها الي) : مظاهر الحياة السياسية، والاجتماعية، والوطنية، سمير الجندي، يعرفنا على القدس، الذي عاش فيها، وشرب معاناة أهلها، مع أصوات مؤذنيها.
