هذه المسرحية تستدعي حدثا تاريخيا ورد في البرديات المصرية عن حكاية الفلاح الفصيح التي تعطي لمحة من صراع الإنسان الكادح ضد الظلم والقهر، كما تذخر بإرادة عنيدة في الوقوف ضد السلطة الباغية، وهى بأحداثها وزمانها ومكانها تعيش في وجدان ومخيلة الشعب المصري الذي يتطلع إلى تحقيق العدالة التي حرم منها طويلا على مدى قرون وقرون. وفي النهاية لنا أن نتساءل : هل البشرية مقبلة على عصر تسوده العدالة وحكم الجماهير، أم أن الأمر لا يعد أكثر من تمنيات طيبة ؟.
