يستحق ناصر الكاس، المشغول بحفظ ورواية التراث الوطني وتوثيقه منذ عقود متواصلة، لقب سفير التراث الإماراتي، نظرا لخبرته الواسعة في هذا الحقل، وخدمته الطويلة في هذا المجال الوطني، وشهرته التي ذاع صيتها في الإمارات وتعدتها إلى الوطن العربي والمحافل الدولية، في ظل مشاركاته المتعددة منذ سنوات طويلة في المحافل والمعارض التراثية في دول عربية وأجنبية مختلفة، ممثلا لتراث الإمارات بصورة عامة، ولجمعية ابن ماجد للفنون الشعبية والتجديف في رأس الخيمة خاصة، والتي كان أحد أبرز مؤسسيها، ويواصل رئاستها منذ 1984.
