يتناول كتاب (المحنة السورية : لماذا أخطأ الغرب ؟!) والذي قام بتأليفه (فريدريك بيشون) في حوالي (190) صفحة من القطع المتوسط موضوع (تاريخ سوريا) حيث يتحدث الكاتب بيشون عن الأخطاء الغربية حول الأزمة في سورية ودور الغرب في اشعال هذه الأزمة والمؤامرة الغربية والخليجية على سورية كما ينتقد الكاتب سياسة بلاده الخارجية إزاء الحرب الارهابية التي تشن على سورية وأن فرنسا كانت الأسوأ في إدراك خطورة هذا الأمر بسبب قصر نظر قادتها.
