يحاول هذا الكتاب الوقوف على عدة جوانب من اللغة، وهي من الأهمية بمكان، لأن اللغة المعاصرة التي تذم من المختصين، ويرحب بها من الكثيرين ليست لغة يصيبها الظمأ في كل مرة استعملت فيها، وفي كل جملة، بل إن الأسلوب المعاصر يكون صحيحا إذا كان قائما على القاعدة النحوية الصحيحة، وإلا فهو أسلوب غير صحيح، وغير سليم، وهذا يعني أن الربط بين النحو والأسلوب واقع لا محالة، ولا يجوز أن ينفصل الواحد عن الآخر.
