هذا الكتاب هو جماع محاولات في ممارسة نقد الخطاب وفي تفسير بعض الممارسات الخطابية وهو لا شك آمل في أن يجد له تلقيا إيجابيا في فضاء ممارساتنا المعرفية العربية منذ أن صاغ أحد الآباء المؤسسين للتحليل النقدي للخطاب نورمان فيركلاف رؤيته التي جسدها بصيغة (اللغة بوصفها شكلا من الممارسة الاجتماعية) لم تعد النظرة إلى اللغة كما لو أنها كيان مستقل فوق خطاب الكائن الاجتماعي ولقد ترسخ المنظور إليها على أنها معترك خطابات تنخرط دائما في علاقات جدلية وأن تفسير هذه العلاقات هو بدوره ممارسات تداولية متغيرة ومتجددة.
