رواية \"كيميرا\" اجتماعية تدور أحداثها حول أسرة سعيدة تتعرض بطلتها لحدث يغير حياة تلك الأسرة بشكل كبير فتشك الزوجة في نسب أبنائها إليها ويشك الزوج في نسب الأبناء إليه وتتوالى الأحداث بين صراع الحب والخيانة وخاصة إذا كان الطرف الآخر شقيق الزوج. تنتقل الكاتبة بين الأحداث بطريقة بسيطة تشعر القارئ بأنه أصبح أحد أطراف الرواية التي لا تقتصر فقط على تلك الواقعة بل تضيف لها تفاصيل احتراق مخزن العائلة وقتل أحد أفرادها مما يجعل الرواية تغوص بالقارئ في بحر التشويق وحل اللغز. رواية \"كيميرا\" تحاول فيها رحاب الدفاع عن حق المرأة في الحب واكتساب ثقة زوجها واختيار زوج يكون محل للثقة تشعر معه بالأمان.
