يقدم دراسة موسعة وشاملة عن حياة وأعمال الشاعر السوري الكبير سليمان العيسى. العيسى يعتبر واحدا من أبرز شعراء العرب، وله إسهامات غنية في الأدب العربي وخاصة في مجال شعر الأطفال والأدب القومي، يتناول الكتاب سيرته الذاتية بدءا من نشأته في سوريا، وتأثير البيئة التي ترعرع فيها على تشكيل شخصيته وأفكاره الأدبية، يستعرض الكتاب محطات هامة في حياته الأدبية، خاصة تأثير الثقافة العربية والنضال القومي على شعره، يركز الكتاب على الجانب القومي في شعر العيسى، حيث كان من أبرز الشعراء الذين مجدوا العروبة والوحدة العربية، يتناول القصائد التي عبر فيها العيسى عن قضايا الأمة العربية مثل النضال ضد الاستعمار، ودعواته للوحدة والتضامن العربي.
