سيجد القارئ في رواية \"المنبوذ\" استنطاقا للمهمشين والبسطاء حيث تأخذك في مسارات من البوح والألم الإنساني تتعرف من خلالها إلى أفكار المعذبين المطحونين حيث تجد في كافة مصالحها قصصا عن الآمال ثم الفجيعة ولم يجد الكاتب أنه في حاجة للإفصاح عن حالة من الفقر أو وضع من الاضطهاد أو موقف تمييز أو مشهد تشرد حيث أنها مسلمات ستتعرف إليها في ثنايا هذا العمل من خلال سرد أبطال الرواية لآلامهم وهمومهم وتأخذك \"المنبوذ\" أيضا عبر أحداثها المختلفة وقصصها المتنوعة نحو المجتمع الذي بدأ من حياة التشرد والتقاتل إلى حياة الدولة والمؤسسات ومصحوبا بآمال وطموحات جموع من الناس الذين عاشوا فترات الجوع والمرض والحروب القبائلية أما صور الإحباط من عدم تحقيق مثل هذه الأهداف فهي موزعة بين جنبات الرواية ذلك أن الفجيعة من تعدد الإخفاقات تعبر عن نفسها كأنين وسرد حزين لعذابات تلك الجموع البشرية.
