رواية نداء الكوكو لروبرت غالبريث يتزاحم المصورون علي جثتها لتصويرها لأخر مرة كما تزاحموا عليها دوما بحياتها جارتها تؤكد إنها سمعت صوت احد ما يتشاجر معها ثم رأتها تسقط وتكافأ جارتها بصورة صغيرة لها علي استحياء مع صورة النجمة بكل الصحف والمجلات التي تتناول الحادث ولكن التحقيقات تكشف تكذيب جارتها لعدم مصداقية أقوالها والأدلة التي تؤكد أن القتيلة كانت وحدها قبل الحادث وتنتهي التحقيقات بالحل الأمثل والأسهل لسكوتلانديار ماتت منتحرة هكذا يموت المشاهير ومجانين الشهرة..الأمر واضح لقد كانت تعاني من مشاكل نفسي هكذا يقول البعض لقد كانت متحمسة جدا لرحلتها للمغرب وعقد العمل الجديد..لم تكن حزينة لدرجة الانتحار ابدا هكذا يقول البعض الاخر وفعلا من خلال التحقيقات والملابسات وتحليلات الطب الجنائي دي ان ايه لشقتها لن تجد اي دليل علي وجود قاتل.
