في وقت قريب تعدد وتكرر السؤال عن رواية \"يشار لا هو بالحي ولا بالميت\" وفي الحقيقة هذه الرواية ليس لها وجود واقعي. فقد كانت مجرد تمثيلية تم إعدادها اعتمادا على قصص موزعة بين خمسة كتب أو ستة. لم يشأ نيسين أن يكتب رواية تستمد مادتها من قصص سبق له نشرها. لكن رغبة القراء وضغوط المحيط غلبته. جلس وفكر في الموضوع، فرأى أن تلك القصص تكتسب بعدا جديدا باجتماعها معا، فقرر كتابة \"يشار لا هو بالحي ولا بالميت\" كرواية هذه المرة.
