تدور مسرحيه الدرافيل الحاصله على جائزه الدوله الإسبانية فى الأدب عام 1969 حول الصراع بين الأجيال، ومدى تأثر المشاعر الإنسانيه بالتقدم التكنولوجى فى حياتنا. ومسرحيه الدرافيل قصه عالم ينتهى، ونمط من أنماط الحياه يتحطم وينهار، رغم أنه أسس على قواعد كانت تبدو ثابته. وهذه المسرحيه واحده من أهم المسرحيات الإسبانية التى كتبت فى القرن العشرين، ولا تخرج عن الإطار العام لمسرح خايمى سالوم.
