يتضمن هذا المجلد ترجمة دقيقة عن اللغة العبرية، للنص الكامل لما يمكن اعتباره الرواية الإسرائيلية الرسمية لأحداث الثورة العربية الكبرى في فلسطين، ثورة 1936-1939 .وهي مأخوذة من كتاب \"تاريخ الهاغاناه\" الذي يقع في ثمانية مجلدات. (المجلد الثاني-الكتاب الخامس والكتاب السادس من القسم السادس الصادر سنة 1964 .(ويعتبر هذا الكتاب، بتفاصيله الدقيقة، واستناده إلى وثائق وتقارير أرشيفية رسمية وغير رسمية، وشهادات وتصريحات للمسؤولين السياسيين والعسكريين الصهيونيين، المرجع الأساسي باللغة العبرية فيما يتعلق بالنشاطات العسكرية الصهيونية في فترة الانتداب البريطاني في فلسطين، وواحد من أهم المراجع الصهيونية المتعلقة بتاريخ تلك الفترة السياسي، وقد استغرق إعداد مجلداته الثمانية؛ عشرين (بين سنتي 1954-1972 ،(وأشرف على تحريره هيئة من المؤرخين والخبراء برئاسة تقريبا عاما الكاتب والمؤرخ الصهيوني يهودا سلوتسكي، وصدر عن دار (معراخوت) للنشر التابعة للجيش الإسرائيلي.
