يعرض هذا الكتاب والذي قام بتأليفه حمد الحمد في حوالي (241) صفحة من القطع المتوسط لحياة وإبداع شاعر الكويت الشعبي الأول الشاعر فهد بورسلي (1918-1960) ويؤرخ لتجربته الشعرية الرائدة لفترة ثلاثة عقود من ثلاثينيات حتى خمسينيات القرن الماضي. في أحد الفصول نرى خطوات الشاعر في بداية مسيرته الإبداعية، حتى غدا أهم شاعر شعبي.
