تناول هذا البحث قصيدة الشاعر المسيب بن علس في العصر الجاهلي بالتحليل والتعليل من منظور الرؤية التكاملية في وظائفها وأدواتها، وعالج هذا التناول جوانب من مجالات هذه الرؤية تمثلت في: المستملحات المادية والمعنوية، والبيئات الطبيعية والاجتماعية، وصنوف من الكد والكدح، وأنماط من لحظات التنوير، وتجليات في السرد والبناء الفني، وأشارت هذه المعالجة إلى تكامل موضوعات القصيدة الثلاثة، وتماسك خطابها، وتمدد مشاعر الحب والاعجاب فيها، وبينت أهمية مساعي الإنسان ورحلاته في طلب الثروة والمال المتطلب الإلزامي للحياة.
