هدف البحث: يهدف البحث الحالي إلى تسليط الضوء على مفهوم جودة حياة الكبار والأميين كما تناول البحث رصد الواقع الحالي لمحو الأمية وتعليم الكبار في مصر فضلا عن التعرف على المعوقات التي تواجه حياة الكبار والأميين بمصر بغرض الوصول إلى رؤية مقترحة لتحسين جودة حياة الكبار والأميين. منهج البحث: استخدم البحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي. نتائج وتوصيات البحث: توصل البحث إلى أن هناك العديد من المعوقات التي تواجه حياة الكبار والأميين وقد تم وضع رؤية مقترحة لتحسين جودة حياة الكبار والأميين تنطلق من خلال عدة تدابير منها: -تحسين نوعية حياة الدارسين -تشجيع التعليم المستمر مدى الحياة -توجيه برامج تعليم الكبار نحو التركيز على الدارسين -تطوير مناهج تعليم الكبار.
