Overview
يناقش هذا البحث نقشا معينيا جديدا، اكتشف حديثا وينشر لأول مرة، ويدل مضمون النقش على أنه من نقوش إهداءات المنشآت المعمارية، إذ يرد أن صاحب النقش أهدى للمعبود نكرح (جرزم) وهو لفظ يرد لأول مرة في النقوش اليمنية القديمة، وهو كتلة حجرية منحوتة دون عليها النقش، أما ما يتعلق بسبب الإهداء فقد كان بناء على أمر من المعبودات ود وعثتر الشارق وعثتر ذقبض ونكرح، وتم تقسيم البحث إلى مقدمة يتلوها نص النقش بالحروف العربية واللاتينية، ثم معنى النقش وتحليل ألفاظه لغويا، وفي خاتمة البحث تم إيضاح أهم النتائج المتمثلة في العثور على لفظ جديد لم يكن معروفا من قبل، أضف إلى ذلك تاريخ النقش الذي يعود إلى عهد صيغة التحالف والأخوة بين أبي يدع ومملكة معين.
