برقت الثورة الحسينية في ضمائر الأحرار، سيما الشعراء منهم، حيث تجاوزت الحدود التاريخية والجغرافية، إلى أن وصلت الأندلس، بدء من الفتح حتى سقوطها، وأفردوا الشعراء الشيعة قصائد مستقلة في الرثاء والبكاء على الحسين عليه السلام، وهذا يدلنا على عظم التشيع ومكانته في الأندلس ونقل لنا ذلك أبو البحر صفوان بن إدريس تفصيلا، من إقامة الشعائر الحسينية في المناسبات الدينية خصوصا في عاشوراء، وإظهار الحزن واللوعة والأسى.
