The electronic records of all children with a vitamin B12 level >771 ng/L processed by York & Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in 2018/2019 were reviewed up to June 2024 to look for a subsequent diagnosis of malignancy and/or inflammatory or autoimmune disorders.
