Overview
To investigate the torque characteristics between dual-excitation (oil pressure of motor, drilling pressure of cylinder) and the lithology of coal seam under variable load conditions, the paper established a torque transmission model for the drilling rig, then narrated the production form of the dual-excitation. It also analyzed the force status of drilling tools in the process of drilling coal seam, and concluded the theoretical relationship between the dual-excitation and coal seam lithology of drilling coal seam. Theoretical research showed that the variation of dual-excitation could be used to predict the properties of coal seams. To simulate the dynamic response for dual-excitation of two kinds of samples during the drilling process under variable loading operation mode, the paper built up a test bench in a fully-hydraulic tunnel drill rig. The test results revealed a positive correlation between the hardness of the rock stratum and the dual-excitation. The research result could be used to predict the drillability of coal seams, so as to provide a reference for drilling technology.
