To the Editor: In their review, Saadoun et al. (Feb. 15 issue) 1 discuss recent developments related to Behçet’s syndrome. Inflammation-driven endothelial-cell dysfunction is the main cause of thromboembolism in patients with Behçet’s syndrome. 2 Glucocorticoids and immunosuppressants are standard care in these cases.
