Overview
La aparición de pueblos que fueron sumergidos por la construcción de embalses durante el siglo pasado como consecuencia del periodo de sequía vivido en España durante el año 2017 y el fenómeno espontáneo de visita a los mismos, abre una nueva puerta a la reflexión sobre este tipo de turismo denominado turismo de sequía. Se trata de lugares olvidados por la historia oficial que la memoria de sus antiguos habitantes y visitantes curiosos intenta recuperar. Frente al interés en su aprovechamiento como recurso económico, se hace necesaria una reflexión desde la historia del arte y la arquitectura que analice este fenómeno y proponga soluciones que pretendan reconciliar memoria e historia. *Esta investigación está financiada por el programa de investigación del Dipartimento di Architettura e Design de Politécnico de Turín (Italia): L'’osso’ dell'Italia.
