تبحث هذه الدراسة في ظاهرة الأسيرات المسلمات ومعاملتهن لدى الصليبيين في بلاد الشام، وقد عني البحث بتتبع الحالات التي تعرضت فيها المسلمات للأسر من الصليبيين، وكيف تعاملوا معهن بأسلوب همجي من قتل وتمثيل، ثم ناقشت الأساليب والطرق التي استخدموها في تعذيب الأسيرات، وأميط اللثام عن موقف المجتمع الإسلامي تجاه هذه القضية، وأخيرا أوضحت الدراسة الجهود التي بذلها المجتمع الإسلامي لتحرير الأسيرات من الصليبيين.
