يهدف هذا المبحث إلى محاولة ضبط موضع ((توربغين)) والتعرف على خارطة توزع القبائل عند التخوم الجنوبية الغربية لإفريقية خلال العصر الفاطمي وذلك من خلال نص من كتاب ((عيون الأخبار للداعي إدريس. وتحيلنا المعطيات الجغرافية والطبونومية المتوفرة إلى فرضية ضبط موضع توربغين في المكان الذي يحمل اليوم اسم ((بير تغمين)) عند السفح الجنوبي لجبل الشوابين جنوب غرب قفصة. تسمح هذه الموضعة بالتعرف على التحولات التي مست خارطة توزع قبائل في جنوب غرب إفريقية.
