من الوسائل التي يعتمد عليها الفنانون عامة ونخص بالذكر الأدباء \"الإيقاع\"، وذلك من أجل كسب المتلقي وسبيه، فهو حبل يربط بين المبدع والمتلقي، وهو كفيل بإزالة الملل، والإيقاع في الأدب يتجلى كثيرا في السجع والتكرار والتضاد والازدواج وحسن التقسيم والانسجام.nيجأ الفنانون عموما إلى الإيقاع لدرء الملل عن المتلقي وهو يسمع أو يقرأ، ثم إن الإيقاع من شأنه كفيل بأن يمنح لصاحب الإنتاج الفني شهرة وأنصارا.
