تتناول هذه الدراسة ديانة قرية الفاو- الواقعة جنوب غربي الرياض- بمعبوداتها، ومسمياتها، ورموزها، وتقدماتها، ومعابدها وطقوس عبادتها، وتنقسم الدراسة إلى عدة مباحث: الإلهة الرئيسية- الإلهة الوافدة- المعابد وأماكن العبادة الأخرى - الطقوس الدينية والتقدمات، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى عدة نتائج مهمة من أبرزها: تأثر ديانة قرية بالحضارة اليمنية القديمة في معبوداتها، وعمارة معابدها وخط كتابتها نتيجة للصلات القوية التي ربطت بين الحضارتين لوقوع قرية على طريق القوافل التجارية البرية الرئيسية، واستقرار القبائل الجنوبية فيها.
