Overview
It is obvious that the privacy of leaders is affected by any influence on their way of exercising government, which is why we have relied on the approach of political anthropology to deal with this subject, this approach which allows the observation of the hidden levers of power. In this context, we have tried to highlight the role of the intimate life of the Bay's in Tunisia in the nineteenth century in determining political strategies and the implications of these on the different social groups that have been emulated in their practice and their reflection by the ruling class.
