Overview
قاد العمل الجاد الذي جسدته بعض الدول العربية المنتجة للنفط، والذي ظهر للوجود من خلال تأسيس منظمة الدول العربية المصدرة للنفط (أوابك) عام ١٩٦٨، إلى هزة عنيفة أربكت الدول الأجنبية المسيطرة على نفطها، لأن تأسيسها كان بداية لرص صفوف الدول المنتجة للنفط وتكاتفها الذي نتج عنه عمل مشترك، تجسد في تأسيس العديد من الشركات التي كان لها دور كبير بالنهوض باقتصاديات الدول المنتجة للنفط، إذ اعتبر تأسيسها نقطة تحول جوهرية في مسيرة العمل العربي المشترك.
