يهدف هذا البحث إلى إبراز النظريات الفلسفية في تفسير عبد الكريم المدرس، إذ أن هذا الباب قل من يطرق بابه من المفسرين. وتعتبر النظريات الفلسفية مظهرا فريدا ارتسمت به بعض التفاسير؛ ويعتمد فيه أصحابها على تلك النظريات في تفسير بعض الآيات القرآنية، وهذا ما يكسب البحث في هذا الباب أهمية بالغة في مجال التفسير ومجال الفلسفة، فهو يعطي رؤية جديدة للتفسير من الجانب الفلسفي ويكون حصنا منيعا لتلك الضربات التي يشنها العقلانيون على الإسلام والمسلمين.
