Overview
اكتنف الحافظ البرسي غموض في أصله بين العربي أو الفارسي، وعقيدته، واتهامه بالغلو لإفراطه في حب أهل البيت (عليهم السلام)، وخلط في مؤلفاته، وغيرها من التهم، حاول البحث تسليط الضوء عليها وتوصل إلى ما يأتي: 1- أصالته العربية، فهو ينتسب إلى مدينة برس، الواقعة في محافظة بابل حاليا، وأن التشكيك في نسبه عائد إلى عقيدته لشهرته بالعرفان (التصوف) الذي معظم رجاله من الفرس. ۲- تبرأته من كل ما رمي به من غلو وغيره، وأن ذلك عائد إلى حبه الجنوني لأهل البيت (عليهم السلام)، فهو بحق عابس زمانه. ۳-دراسة شعره، الخالص كله في مدح أهل البيت (عليهم السلام)، وأغراضه، وبيان ما فيه من محاسن بديعية، التي تعد ظاهرة بارزة فيه.
