تعد الهجرة غير الشرعية من الظواهر الاجتماعية البارزة، التي أخذت في التنامي الخطير بشكل ملف جدا خاصة بسبب تنوع أشكالها وممارسيها، فأصبحت المرأة تقدم على الهجرة بطرق غير مشروعة إلى جانب الرجل عبر قوارب الموت بشكل متزايد، الأمر الذي ينذر بخطورة الموضوع من ناحية تأثيراته النفسية عليها وعلى تركيبة المجتمع بصفة عامة. وفي ظل الغياب شبه كلي لإحصائيات مضبوطة ودراسات في هذا الموضوع، جعلنا نرغب في طرح موضوع الهجرة غير الشرعية عند المرأة وأبعادها وتأثيراتها المختلفة
