استعرض المقال أخر حجة لرسول الله (عليه الصلاة والسلام). وأشار إلى أنه لم يكن هذا العام عامًا كغيره من الأعوام مبيناً أنه عام الوداع وإنها السنة العاشرة من الهجرة والذي كان حشداً مهيبًا وشوقًا وحنينًا. وبين أن الذكر هو حياة الحج ولأجله شرع الحج. وأوضح أن الحج هو التلبية كما جاء تفسيره في مسند ابن أبي شيبة. وبين أن من شرف هذه الأيام منزلة الذكر فيها مؤكداً أن أرد محبة الله عز وجل فليلهج بذكره حيث أن الذكر باب المحبة وشارعها الأعظم وصراطها الأقوم. واختتم المقال ببيان أن يوم كيوم عرفة جدير بأن يغير المسلم جدول أعماله من أجله حيث أنه ليس مجرد يوم في التقويم لكنه هو يوم الدعوات والابتهالات مشيراً إلى قول ابن عبد البر أن (دعاء عرفة مجاب كله في الأغلب) إلا للمعتدين في الدعاء بما لا يرضي الله. كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل المنظومة 2024
