Overview
يهدف البحث إلى إبراز دور بريطانيا في ترسيم حدود سيراليون مع ليبيريا وما هي الغاية من تحديد تلك الحدود، وقد نجحت بريطانيا في تحقيق هدفها إذ أنها أرادت التوغل في الأراضي الداخلية من سيراليون، وضمها إلى المناطق الساحلية التي كانت تعرف بالمستعمرة، وعقد معاهدات مع الزعماء المحليين إذ أرادت بريطانيا أن تتوسع في داخل سيراليون لبسط نفوذها أو تأجير الأراضي مقابل إيجار بسيط بحجة حماية التجار الأوربيين والكريول، لذلك قررت أن تحدد حدود سيراليون، مع ليبيريا.
