ما نرومه من خلال هذه الدراسة هو الكشف عن التحديات الجديدة لمفهوم \"الفضاء العام\"، الذي ظهر في ستينيات القرن الماضي وهيمن لعقود من الزمن، أين فرضته البيئة والمعطيات السياسية لتلك المرحلة، أما اليوم ومع المستجدات السياسية التي يعيشها العالم أصبح التغيير في بنية الفضاء العام أمرا حتميا، وربما هذا ما عبر عنه التحول من \"التصور الهابرماسي\" إلى \"التصور الفريزري\". وعليه كانت محاولتنا تسليط الضوء على هذا التصور الجديد المؤسس لفضاء عام عالمي ما بعد بورجوازي عابر للحدود الوستيفالية، والذي واجه العديد من العقبات التي أضعفت مشروعيته وفعاليته اللتين حاول استلهامهما من الديمقراطية والحوار ليكون قوة سياسية عالمية فاعلة للمساءلة والحوكمة.
