Overview
This study aims at showing the importance of developing the strategic agriculture in Algeria because it is a new technique that achieves the agricultural growth. In this regard, because the Algerian Sahara takes the lion's share of the country's surface, the state adopted a national strategy to develop the strategic Saharan agriculture to guarantee the sustainable food security. This study uses the descriptive analytical method. Findings show that Algeria has a set of qualifications that enable it to develop the strategic agriculture and achieve the sustainable food security. However, it still faces a set of challenges and risks.
