Overview
The current study aims to attempt to evaluate the executive functions represented by (cessation, planning, cognitive flexibility) in an autism spectrum child. A group of studies have confirmed the presence of clear weakness and deficiency at the level of these functions, which in turn causes unusual and similar behaviors in this group in the autism spectrum child. Such as stereotypical and repetitive behaviors, poor interaction and social communication, and introversion In this study, three cases suffering from the autism spectrum were selected intentionally and with the aim of evaluating the executive functions mentioned above and knowing their level. The tests were applied, namely the Stroop test to measure palm function, the complex image ray shape test to measure planning function, and the TMT ring conduction test to measure flexibility function. The results of this study revealed weakness at the level of these executive functions, which indicates a clear deficiency in this group.
