Overview
The present study aimed to evaluate the effect of germinated radish seeds against gentamicin-induced nephrotoxicity in rats. Results showed that the germinated seeds content high amount of carbohydrates, protein, fiber and ash and a decrease in their content of fats compared to non-germinated seeds. Germinated seeds are rich in total flavonoids, total phenolics and antioxidants. Also, sprouted red radish seeds mitigate the GM-inflicted liver and kidney damage.
