بينت الدراسة أن المبادرات مرهون نجاحها بما يرافقها من أجواء أو ظروف قد تسهم في نقل النزاع إلى حوار كما تجسد ذلك صلح الحديبية والذي سبقه حركة مبادرات نشطة وإيجابية تكللت بصلح الحديبية، بحيث تلاشت وتيرة النزاع شيئا فشيئا، حتى عاد طرفا النزاع إلى مواقعهم ومواقفهم الطبيعية. تكريس لغة الحوار في العلاقات الدولية له الكثير من الانعكاسات الايجابية على واقع التفاعلات الدولية، بصرف النظر عن طبيعة النزاع ومهما بلغت درجة تلك الاختلافات، وجعل لغة الحوار نهجاً دوليا على واقع العلاقات الدولية ووسيلة للوصول إلى درجة من التوافق الدولي بعيدا عن مفعلات النزاع.
