Overview
يعتبر كلا الالهين شو وتفنوت من أفراد تاسوع عين شمس، وأبنا الإلهة أتوم التوأم (الأخوين) وعلي الرغم من عدم وجود أي معابد تخصهما إلا أنهما ذكرا في كل المعابد المصرية القديمة كأعضاء تاسوع ألهه المعبد كل باسمه. ويصورا بشكل أدمي كامل أو بشكل أسد كامل أو بشكل أسد برأس رجل بالنسبة للأله شو وسيدة برأس أنثي الأسد يعلوها قرص الشمس للألهه تفنوت وقد تميز شو بريشة الهواء علي رأسه. ذكر كل من الألهين في نصوص الأهرامات ونصوص التوابيت وكتاب الموتى وكل الكتب الخاصة بالعالم الأخر في عصر الدولة الحديثة وحتي العصر اليوناني الروماني كاإلهه للحماية والضوء والرطوبة.
