Overview
حظيت قضية كركوك بعد عام 2003م بأهمية اتسعت أبعادها لتستوعب تداعيات الاحتقان التاريخي والتنوع العرقي والمصالح السياسية والاستراتيجية الوطنية والإقليمية المتقاطعة في هذه المنطقة الغنية باحتياطاتها النفطية، والحيوية بدلالة موقعها الجيوستراتيجي. مثلما تستحضر هذه القضية أهميتها من واقع التحديات التي تفرضها على مستقبل الدولة العراقية وقدرة النظام السياسي فيها على ترسيخ ثوابت الوحدة الوطنية وتشييد ثقافتها على أرضية رصينة من التوافقات السياسية ضمن الأطر الدستورية والديمقراطية البعيدة عن نهج العنف وثقافة الإقصاء والاستحواذ.
