قد بذل المفسرون الكبار منذ عهد الصحابة الكرام رضي الله عنه إلى اليوم جهدهم في سبيل تفسير آيات القرآن، وتوضيح مشكلاته، والكشف عن أسراره، ولم يتركوا شاردة ولا واردة إلا أشاروا إليها في تحميل عباراته، وتسويغ تركيب آية، وبيان موطن إعجازه، كل بحسب منهجه واتجاهاته، سواء منهم الأصولي أم العقلي أم العرفاني. كل ذلك دفعني إلى أن أتخصص في التفسير، وقد اخترت موضوع: (ملك الموت في القرآن الكريم، دراسة تحليلية) لنتعرف عليه، وماذا أريد به في القرآن الكريم، وسوف أدرسه دراسة تحليلية لما في الدراسة التحليلية من التوضيح والبيان.
