جاءت هذه الدراسة تعالج مضامين عميقة احتوتها سورة البينة، حيث تحدثت بالإيجاز عن الأديان التي واجهها رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في بعثته الخاتمة، كما تحدثت عن المشركين وأهل الكتاب من اليهود والنصارى، وذلك بوصف حالهم قبل بعثته وترقبهم لها، ووصف حالهم عند بعثته وعدائهم لها، ثم افتراقهم عنه إلى فريقين: كافرين به متمسكين بأديانهم، ومؤمنين به مفترقين عن أديانهم، وقد عالجت هذه الدراسة فقط أهل الكتاب من اليهود والنصارى وأبرزت الدراسة في هذا البحث أن وجود فئة مؤمنة أو فرقة ناجية منهم التحقت بالدين الجديد، وذكرت من توافرت أخبارهم ممن لديه علم بالنبي الخاتم ولم يؤمن به، وممن أكرمه الله بالإيمان والالتحاق بالنبي الخاتم صلى الله عليه وسلم وبدينه الحق.
