Overview
Research and data collection is really important to underpin policy, but one of the things that I'm becoming increasingly frustrated with is reviews that start but never report. [...]how can politicians best explain policy decisions to constituents? I don't necessarily think every policy decision needs to be explained in great detail because many policy decisions may only affect a small part of the community. If you're going to make policies, you actually have to work out how you're going to deliver them all the way down to actually achieving the outcome On the 22nd May, Senator Anne Ruston will speak at the 2024 Opposition Post Budget Health Briefing Lunch at the NSW Parliament House Dining Room.
