Overview
The paper presents a case study regarding the feasibility of implementing a waste heat recovery system from combustion gases emitted by an electrostatic painting line. Our proposed recovery system aims to bring two main benefits: from an economical point of view, we want to decrease the costs of gas consumption for heating domestic hot water; from a climate and air pollution standpoint, we aim to considerably reduce the amount of combustion gases dumped into the environment, thereby diminishing the greenhouse effect.
