من أعمال مولانا جلال الدين الشعرية ذلك العمل العظيم الذي يطلق عليه المثنوي وهو في ستة مجلدات ومجموعة الرباعيات وديوان الغزليات المعروف بديوان شمس ومن مؤلفاته النثرية كتاب : فيه ما فيه والمجالس السبعة والمكاتب ويصل عدد الرباعيات التي تنسب إلى المولوي إلى 1659 رباعية، كما تصل في بعض النسخ إلى 1983 رباعية ومن رباعياته باللغة العربية قوله : (بين العشاق... لو كان أقل هذه الأشواق... للشمس لأذهلت عن الإشراق... لو قسم ذا الهوى على العشاق... العشر لهم ولي جميع الباقي... عيدنا فهات القدح يا غلام)
