This study explores the challenges of translating English polysemous words into Arabic with a case study of some excerpts of Paul Torday's Salmon Fishing in the Yemen. Polysemy-where a word possesses more than one meaning-makes it problematic to preserve the subtlety, precision, and intention of the source. Based on Functional Equivalence Theory (Eugene Nida) as its methodology, the research employs qualitative, descriptive, and analytical methods to explore how multi-meaning words are translated into Arabic to decide what translation options are used and verifies how the choices impact retention of meaning, cultural adaptation, and readability. Functional Equivalence Theory is concerned with expressing the functional impact of a text and not word-for-word translation, where cultural appropriateness and source text fidelity are accorded priority. Considering the close meaning of terms like \"hope\" and \"project,\" lexical vagueness management and culturally distinctive features for translation are pinpointed in the research. The study offers some evidence regarding the fidelity of translation by examining how vagueness and clarity are managed in literary translation between languages and cultures.

Les figures de style et les expressions figées sont deux factures principales dans chaque langue. Cette étude est fondée sur la traduction des figures de style et celle des expressions figées dans le recueil des nouvelles \"Sous le jasmin la nuit\" de Maïssa Bey. Elle vise à illustrer que la traduction de ces formes ne se limite pas à transférer un mot d'une langue à une autre, mais à traduire la génie de la langue source selon la culture, les coutumes et les habitudes de la société de la langue cible. Le but de notre étude est de dégager les obstacles qui entravent l'opération de leur traduction et de trouver des solutions convenables pour ces problèmes pour produire une bonne traduction. À travers notre article, nous allons répondre à ces questions -comment pouvons -nous traduire les figures de style sans perdre la valeur esthétique de l'image rhétorique? -Quelles sont les expressions figées? Et quelle est la méthode suivie à traduire?

This study presents and evaluates all important possibilities of errors the Saudi speakers of German language make while interpreting German in their mother tongue. The importance of interpreting cannot be quantified in same way as translation, because translation has, in general, played a very important role in the transference of knowledge about civilizations, cultures, and people throughout history, whether through commerce or war. The present work is dedicated to the College of Languages and Translation, King Saud University. The subject discusses the ways to translate the brief rhetorical words of the Prophet (peace be upon him) into the Russian language The objective of the research is to try to translate the meanings of the brief rhetorical statements of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) from Arabic to Russian and the translation methods that can be used to convey such rhetorical statements from Arabic to Russian The research approach is to achieve this goal will be using the methodology of translating the meanings of rhetoric and the descriptive approach The most important results at the end of the research indicate that the achievement of equivalence in the translation of the words of the Prophets eloquent summary is not always possible because of the utterance of the word and its rhetoric and contain many meanings in a few words.

لا شك أن عملية الترجمة التي شهدت نقاشات وتحديات بين المنظرين على مدار القرن العشرين، باعتبارها الجسر الذي ننفد من خلاله للتواصل، وفهم الآخر وتقبله، تعد أمرا بالغ التعقيد والصعوبة على المترجم؛ نتيجة الخصوصيات والفوارق الثقافية والاجتماعية لكل لغة. وعليه، فإن الدراسة الحالية تسعى لرصد ما تنطوي عليه الترجمة الفارسية لبعض روايات الأديب نجيب من مفاهيم ثقافية واجتماعية، وتشكل تحديا وعائقا في وجه المترجم الإيراني أثناء عملية النقل. وقد اعتمدت الدراسة في معالجتها لهذه الإشكالات على الرؤية السوسيوثقافية التي تبناها الإنجليزي بيتر نيومارك؛ تلك الرؤية التي تؤكد على السياق اللغوي والثقافي أثناء عملية الترجمة، ومعالجتها من خلال القاسم المشترك بين اللغة المصدر والهدف. وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى عدم إدراك المترجمين لجانب من محتوى النص الأصل، لاسيما بعض من تراكيبه، وعباراته الشعبية، وإيحاءاته الدارجة، ولضمان تحقيق مقاصد الكاتب؛ والوصول إلى المفاهيم والمردود الثقافي والاجتماعي الصحيح؛ كان من المستحسن الرجوع إلى ابن اللغة الهدف، وبخاصة ممن يعيشون في زمن كتابة مثل هذه الروايات. كذلك يرى الباحث أهمية تزود المترجم الإيراني الذي ينقل عن العربية بالخصوصية الثقافية للغتنا العربية التي قد تتغير بتغير المواقف والتوجهات، وأن ينأى أثناء عملية الترجمة عن التكافؤ الشكلي؛ لضمان مقبولية القارئ، وارتياحه للمحتوى الأصل.

يهدف هذا البحث الوقوف على إشكالية ترجمة المصطلحات الفارسية، ولا سيما المصطلحات المتعلقة بالترجمة التحريرية بأنواعها المتعددة في المجالات اللسانية والنقدية والقانونية، وكيفية معالجة هذه الإشكالية، حيث توجد إشكالية مترتبة على الترجمة غير الدقيقة للمصطلحات نجدها في تعدد التراجم التخصصية، وكذلك نلحظها عند القيام بترجمة وثيقة قانونية، أو ترجمة مصدر من المصادر اللغوية أو المصادر النقدية، ويهدف البحث- أيضا- إلى كيفية الوصول بالمترجم لتفادي تلك الإشكالية والوقوف على حدودها وكيفية معالجتها تطبيقا على بعض المعاجم الفارسية والمصادر الرئيسة، كما أن هناك ترجمات صحيحة للبعض الآخر من المصطلحات تؤثر بالإيجاب في الترجمة التخصصية التحريرية. تم الاعتماد على المنهج النقدي التحليلي الذي يهتم بتحليل الظاهرة وطرق معالجتها، والذي يساعد على تحليل إشكالية ترجمة المصطلح في الترجمة التحريرية وتقديم مقترحات لحلها. وقد تم تقسيم البحث إلى مقدمة، وقسمين أما المقدمة يستعرض فيها البحث التعريف بالإشكالية، وترجمة المصطلح، والترجمة التحريرية، ويعرض فيها أهمية الموضوع وأهدافه، والمنهج المتبع للدراسة، والدراسات السابقة التي يفاد منها البحث، وكذلك حدود الدراسة ومادتها. وتناول القسم الأول الإطار النظري، بعنوان الحد التركيبي للمصطلح الفارسي وصياغته، والقسم الآخر تطبيقي يتناول إشكالية ترجمة المصطلحات اللسانية والنقدية والمصطلحات القانونية في الفارسية، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى العديد من الإشكاليات التي تواجه المترجم في ترجمة المصادر اللسانية والنقدية والقانونية ومصطلحاتها.

تحتل قضية ترجمة المصطلحات الاقتصادية حيزا هاما في عصرنا الحالي، عصر التكتلات الاقتصادية والانتشار المعرفي، فما أحوجنا لمفاتيح الاصطلاح للتصدي للعراقيل ومواجهتها، لاسيما تعثر المترجم العادي لعدم إحاطته والمامه بالثقافة الاقتصادية، وتعدد المصطلح للمفهوم الواحد، مما يتطلب جهدا، وعملا دؤوبا لتجاوزها، خدمة للأمة وللمهتم عن قرب بالترجمة الاقتصادية. الغرض من هذه الدراسة هو تناول إشكالية ترجمة المصطلح الاقتصادي وما حملته من بلبلة تعود إلى عوامل لا حصر لها، كانت وراء اهتمامنا بمسألة المصطلح والترجمة كمشكلة الفردية الاصطلاحية، عدم استقرار المصطلح وتداوله، وعدم التخطيط والتنسيق لمواجهة هذه المعضلة.

L'imperativo, molto frequente nella lingua italiana, ha la funzione di esprimere ciò che vogliamo e di imporre al destinatario un determinato comportamento, esprimendo un comando, un'esortazione, ima richiesta e simile. L'obiettivo del presente lavoro si concentra sulle problematicità di tradurre le forme dell'imperativo dall'italiano in arabo, perciò è svolto secondo tre prospettive d'indagine: la prima studia le varie forme dell'imperativo sia in italiano sia in arabo; la seconda esamina i vari valori che l'imperativo può esprimere in italiano per poi mostrare che gli usi e le funzioni semantiche dell'imperativo in italiano e in arabo coincidono, mentre le strutture si distinguono nettamente; e la terza è dedicata ad analizzare i problemi di traduzione riscontrati nell'opera teatrale Così è (se vi pare) di Luigi Pirandello.
