الكتاب يشمل بحوث المؤلف المنشورة في المجلات العلمية المحكمة داخل بلده العراق وخارجه. وهذه البحوث كانت من التنوع والإحاطة بموضوعات الأدب الأندلسي ومصادره، فمنها ما شمل الدراسة النقدية لشعر شاعر معين، ومنها ما شمل دراسة لنقد التحقيق، ومنها ما شمل جمع شعر الشاعر بالنقد والاستدراك، ومنها ما شمل المجاميع وعمل الببلوغرافيات والكشافات. وأود ان أعلمك أيها القارئ اللبيب أن بعض من هذه البحوث لم تنل التحديث أو الاضافة على موادها العلمية بعدما نشرت أول مرة، وذلك لكثرة مشاغل الباحث ولتصديه لاعمال أخرى، ولكنه حرص أن تصدر ولو بهذه الشاكلة حرصا منه على اتمام الفائدة، وايصال الفكرة والموضوع اليك فلا تعجب أو تستغرب !
