تناول هذا البحث أثر السياق القرآني واعتبار دلالته في تفسير ابن جزي الكلبي المسمى (التسهيل لعلوم التنزيل)، وهو من المفسرين الذين أولوا دلالة السياق عناية فائقة بوصفها أصلاً من أصول التفسير، وقد تناول هذا البحث تعريف السياق في اللغة والاصطلاح، ثم عرج على بيان أهمية السياق في الكشف عن المعاني، وتم استقراء المواضع التي اعتمد فيها ابن جزم دلالة السياق بحسب ما يندرج تحت دلالة السياق من أصول معتبرة عنده.
