Overview
Dans le cadre des mobilités étudiantes afro-soviétiques, une vingtaine de Touaregs maliens, dont quatre femmes, ont été formés en Union soviétique et dans les pays de l'ancien bloc soviétique, entre les années 1960 et 1993, dans le secteur technico-scientifique (médecine, ingénierie, géologie et chimie). Après avoir contextualisé ces parcours d'étudiants dotés de capital international dans le difficile processus d'appropriation de l'institution scolaire par les Touaregs, leur devenir professionnel et politique est analysé, tant au sein de l'État malien qu'en appui aux mouvements indépendantistes.
